Guayamurí shares its protected status with Matasiete but gets a fraction of the traffic. The climb is longer and gentler, through dry scrub and cactus. From the summit you see the entire north coast: Playa El Agua, Manzanillo and, on clear days, the silhouette of Los Frailes on the horizon.
