Playa Puerto Cruz

A horseshoe bay between two headlands, almost always empty.

Duration

Puerto Cruz is one of the prettiest bays on the north coast and one of the least visited, because you have to drop down a narrow road to reach it. Headlands close it on both sides, the water is clear and the sand is coarse and golden. Next door, Puerto Viejo offers more of the same with even fewer people.
